About Me

I'm Gavin, a web design/developer from Edmonton, Alberta. I like design that is both functional, and aesthetic. You need both because what good is a functional design if its boring as heck, and what good is a beautiful design if it doesn't even work? I hope to be able to achieve a good balance of both in my work, with the help of a great team.

I just graduated from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in the Digital Media and IT program, with a focus on Web Design and Development. I've previously completed the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at NAIT, but after being in that field for a bit I decided to pivot and change careers.

I'm pretty new to design and development, although I have always had an appreciation for good design. I hope that my work can show the effort that I've been making in learning this new (to me) world, as well as a fresh perspective.

When I'm not staring at computer screens at my desk, you can find me working on my car in the garage, gaming, or out training for my next big run. All in the company of my excellent friends, who help make life an adventure!
